Getting to know Caroline Ewan

Life moves fast, and sometimes we can’t keep up. Sometimes we don’t feel like we can talk to others for fear of judgment. Do you feel overwhelmed? Do you withdraw and shut down when you are struggling? Do you have thoughts coming at you a mile a minute? Do those same thoughts take off into uncharted territory? It’s not uncommon, and you don’t have to feel that way forever. You might not have the tools to sort out or process these emotions. Maybe you know some skills but are unsure how or when to use them. These are just a few reasons why people seek therapy, and I provide a supportive, non-judgmental, and encouraging environment. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix, which equips me to help you navigate these challenges with care and expertise.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Once we meet and get to know one another, we can explore what you want to work on in therapy. The time is yours and I want to make sure you have your needs met. I view the client-therapist relationship as a collaborative process. I typically give "homework" to utilize outside of therapy. It can be as simple as getting outside 20 minutes a day or doing deep breathing. Your treatment is something you have a say in. I am a :come as you are" type of person. Please send me a message if you don't see a day or time that works for you. I work Monday-Friday.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
