What should a new client know about working with you?

It's normal to take 2-3 visits with a therapist to be sure you've found a good fit. Don't be discouraged if it takes a few tries to find someone that you feel you can safely be vulnerable with. You're worth it. My clients typically meet with me weekly and I hold a time slot for each client. When there is a need to cancel or reschedule I require 24 HOURS NOTICE. If you cancel without giving me 24 hours notice you are responsible for the session fee.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

All my clients complete intake paperwork online before their first visit so they can take time to describe their background and concerns. This is reviewed during our intake session allowing us to get to know each other and get a feel for whether we want to continue together. It's a good idea to jot down any questions/concerns you have about therapy and working with me.

Lina is a reliable, welcoming provider. She has helped me navigate some major life changes with compassion. Her understanding of family dynamics is particularly helpful for me. She also has given me solid insights on the mind-body connection, like noticing physical sensations when I'm anxious, etc. Her Zoom platform and scheduling is reliable and easy to use. Our sessions always start on time. I recommend her as a therapist!
