Getting to know Carrie Weiner

I entered this field because I want to help people experience more joy, connection, and freedom in their lives. Life will hand us difficult challenges, and some of us carry extra burdens. Very often, we get stuck. Some of us need to get out of our own way. Others need to redirect away from the destructive patterns we keep repeating. Or maybe we just need guidance in finding solutions that bring relief from whatever struggles we feel trapped beneath. I believe there are ALWAYS skills we can learn, choices we can make, and actions we can take to improve the quality of our experiences and outcomes. I also believe there are times when we can’t and shouldn’t do this work alone. Those close to us don’t always have the capacity or ability to help with the emotional, circumstantial, or relational challenges we face. Those are the times when therapy becomes a beautiful opportunity for growth and healing. Simply put, my goal is to help people improve the way they experience their own lives. I am an experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, skilled in Crisis Intervention, Addiction/Recovery, and LGBTQIA issues. I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University in Costa Mesa. Over the past ten years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults dealing with a range of mental health issues and life stressors. It’s never too late nor too soon to change the way you experience your journey. Now is the time, and you are worth it.
