Psychotherapist
CA
If you're here, you likely struggle with attachment. Therapists can assist with this challenge in various ways. I believe the best way for me to be a trauma-informed clinician is to take care not to pathologize clients for the circumstances they are forced to survive in, but rather explore if old tools are working for new challenges. My approach As a therapist, I have learned that the best gift I can give to my clients is to provide a secure attachment in the therapeutic alliance so that clients can begin to cultivate secure attachments in their own personal lives. I intend to create this therapeutic space for each one of my unique clients from our first session together. My focus While I have extensive experience with a diverse range of clientele, I find that I am most helpful treating women and femmes who struggle with attachment and self-esteem issues when dating or in romantic relationships. Past traumatic experiences can cause barriers to connection with self and others in the present; I help clients navigate this. My communication style I believe that my greatest strength as a provider is the authenticity that I bring to the therapeutic dynamic. When working with me, I take pride in offering a genuine presence to clients so that they can feel emotionally safe and trust that they are getting my undivided attention and genuine reflections as they share their stories. My journey to mental healthcare I truly believe that a therapist isn't just something one becomes; rather, it is born out of an innate passion for healing and growth. All of the best therapists are "professional clients" themselves. My own healing journey, my passion for healing, and my deep reverence for the human condition are what brought me into this field.
