Carter seeks to facilitate therapy in a way that best meets the client’s needs, promoting autonomy and introspection. She utilizes person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, multicultural competency, and mindfulness. Carter’s hope is to offer a safe environment where clients feel heard, understood, and validated in their experience of the world, encouraging growth and healing by providing a supportive and empathetic presence. In her free time, Carter enjoys relaxing with her cat and finding opportunities to see live music.
