Hi there! I'm glad you are here. My name is Casey Kohn, and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my Master's in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton, and have been practicing for 6 years. I help clients of all ages manage the various challenges of life by exploring their true selves and working towards achieving their full potential. My approach I believe in the inherent goodness of people and create a safe environment for you to explore personal beliefs and experiences with empathy and acceptance. I use a humanistic, client-centered approach and incorporate techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, and attachment theory. My focus I enjoy working with a wide variety of client populations and believe that each age and stage in life presents unique challenges. I see these challenges as opportunities to grow and develop into the best version of oneself. My communication style I provide a warm, empathic, and safe space so clients feel free and comfortable to be themselves. I am authentic and genuine, often using humor in my work. My journey to mental healthcare Throughout my youth, friends came to me when they needed to talk. I've always enjoyed being a sounding board and feel honored when someone trusts me enough to share their life. I sought therapy as a teenager, and over the years, it has helped me through difficult times. I am grateful for the opportunity to help others navigate life’s many challenges.
