"Hello, I'm Cassandra. With over 15 years of experience in behavioral health services, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of settings that have shaped my approach to therapy. From after-school programs and youth crisis stabilization units to community-based services and youth residential substance use programs, my journey has been diverse and enriching. I've also worked in agency-based outpatient counseling and a medical detox facility with a residential step-down unit, which has given me a broad perspective on mental health care. Throughout my career, I've held numerous roles, starting as an entry-level behavioral specialist and moving through positions such as community psychiatric support provider, counselor, clinical manager/supervisor, and clinical director. Each of these roles has taught me valuable lessons and deepened my understanding of the complexities of mental health. I specialize in working with individuals facing addiction, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health issues, depression, grief/bereavement, PTSD, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming behaviors, stress, trauma, and family relationship challenges. My approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Together, we will work on developing strategies and skills to help you navigate life's challenges and achieve your personal goals. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, my goal is to help you find the strength and resilience within yourself to overcome obstacles and lead a fulfilling life. I understand that seeking therapy can be a daunting step, but I am here to support you every step of the way. Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about continuous learning and staying updated with the latest advancements in mental health care.
