Cecily Davis, LPC

Psychotherapist
GA
Beginning therapy is a courageous decision, and I want to acknowledge the strength it takes to take that first step. My work focuses on supporting individuals through life changes, anxiety, depression, and the lasting effects of trauma. I approach therapy as a collaborative process—one where your voice, experiences, and goals shape the direction we take together. No two people are the same, so our work will be tailored to what feels most helpful to you. When you're ready, I’m here to offer a space where you can show up just as you are—no judgment, just support. My approach My approach is collaborative and client-centered, drawing from evidence-based tools such as ACT, DBT, mindfulness, somatic therapies, attachment-based work, and parts work. I have advanced training in trauma and dissociation through ISSTD, and I’m an EMDR Certified Therapist and consultant-in-training. I am constantly learning new skills and tools to share with everyone who works with me. My focus If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or not quite “good enough” while managing symptoms of depression or anxiety, you're not alone — and you don’t have to navigate it on your own. Whether you're seeking personal growth, healing from trauma, or simply ready for change, I offer a safe, supportive space to help you move forward. My communication style My communication style is warm, attentive, and grounded in authenticity. I listen deeply and respond with care—balancing empathy with gentle honesty. I’m not afraid to sit with silence or difficult emotions, and I strive to create space for your thoughts to unfold at your own pace. At the same time, I’m not just a passive listener. When it’s helpful, I’ll offer reflections or ask direct questions that gently challenge you to think differently, go deeper, or explore new perspectives. My goal is to make you feel heard, respected, and supported—while also helping you grow.
