Hi there, I'm Chad! Looking for a place where you can talk openly about what’s happening in your life in a safe, nonjudgmental environment? Where you’ll be genuinely heard and maybe even see your situation from a perspective you hadn’t considered before? That’s my jam. My focus I enjoy working with people who feel like a bit of a mess... but are ready to figure things out. I’m especially comfortable sitting with people in emotional pain, whether it comes from current struggles or difficult experiences from the past, and helping them find a way forward. My approach My approach draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and genuine interpersonal connection. I believe in meeting you where you are, truly understanding your experience, and then exploring new ways of seeing life’s challenges. I bring authenticity, curiosity, and a little humor to the process. My communication style I’m not a “warm and sweet” therapist and that’s intentional. I’m just a real person who will listen, be honest with you, and create a space where you can talk without worrying about being judged. Every now and then, I’ll hopefully offer one of those little gems of insight that makes you stop and think, “Huh… I never looked at it that way before.” My journey to mental healthcare I became a counselor because I wanted to help people, but along the way I discovered something deeper: I enjoy watching someone learn new skills, see life differently, and eventually realize they don’t need me anymore. There’s a real sense of pride in watching people succeed and move forward on their own. My goals for you I like to keep goals simple: What do you want your life to look like 3–6 months from now, and how can we start moving in that direction? We’ll figure it out together, check in along the way, and adjust as you grow, check things off, or life inevitably changes.
