Getting to know Charae London-Lindsey

I was born and raised in SoCal and chose exploration via education. I graduated with my Bachelors in Social Work from Eastern Michigan University and my Masters from the University of Pennsylvania. While at Eastern I became a McNair Scholar and published a research paper titled Examining Undergraduates Attitudes Towards Bisexuality and Bisexual Individuals. While at UPenn I focused on animal assisted therapy and its impact on juvenile recidivism. Venturing into the workforce, I have worked at an all male juvenile detention center, high school and elementary campuses, a psychiatric hospital and a residential treatment facility. But throughout all of this one aspect has remained near and dear to my heart; the individual work that I have done with adolescents and their families. I have roughly 13 years of experience working with individuals struggling with anger, depression, anxiety, family issues and more.
