Getting to know Dr. Chari Bondurant

My clients have described me as supportive, kind, understanding, and patient. As your therapist, I will collaborate with you to identify your goals and strengths. We will work together in a safe, non-judgmental, warm space to assist you in achieving a better quality of life. Developing a working therapeutic relationship is essential. Together, we will discover barriers to obtaining your goals while developing adaptive coping skills to diminish those barriers. I have nine years of experience working with individuals from various facets of life. I have worked with diagnoses such as Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Bipolar I and II, Anxiety Disorders, Adjustment Disorders, Co-occurring Diagnoses, Substance Use, classroom issues, and relational issues. I have also worked with victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. I am a person-centered therapist who works at the pace of the client. I understand that the client is the expert of their experiences. I have seen this form of therapy be most successful regardless of diagnosis because it allows the client to feel heard and seen. I enjoy observing the growth of individuals. I hold a PsyD from Alliant International University and a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University.
