How are you... really? If the honest answer to that question is: anxious, overwhelmed, burned out, a little (or a lot) lost, restless, dissatisfied with my relationships, mildly addicted to social media (or other numbing agents like alcohol, nicotine, or shopping, to name a few), exhausted, wondering if I have ADHD, and/or sick of online dating - you've come to the right place. The very fact that you're reading this means that you've taken the first step toward healing, and I am celebrating you so much for showing yourself the same love that you show others in your life! I work with adults in their 20's, 30's, and 40's who are navigating all of the stuff listed above. I believe that we all deserve a place where we can be fully witnessed without judgment so that we can start to figure out what a "life well lived" truly means for us - because you have your own unique blueprint for what lights you up. I am excited to connect with you and to learn more about how I can support you!

What should a new client know about working with you?

Human first, therapist second. That's the statement that serves a foundation for all of my work with clients - because no matter how many credentials and tools and letters behind my name; I'm still a fellow human walking alongside you on this wild journey called life. I create a space where you feel safe to be fully human. Where imperfections are not only accepted, they are held with compassion. And I'll also (gently, lovingly) call you on your BS when the time comes. Because I know you're not paying me to smile and nod at you - you're looking for real, lasting change. My eclectic approach to working with clients incorporates modalities including psychodynamic theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, positive psychology, and narrative therapy. My work with couples incorporates Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, and the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT). A lifelong student and learner, I am always seeking new training and education that will help me help you. I am deeply passionate about helping others live their most fulfilling, aligned, and vibrant lives. I can't wait to learn more about how I can help you with that goal!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions will lay the groundwork of getting to know you on a deep level - looking at what's currently working in your life, as well as what is... not. We'll set clear goals together so that we have a road map of where we are going. Having a vision for your life is so important, and I'm excited to hear about yours! From there, we get into "the work." I'll introduce tools, theories, and perspectives that will support you in working towards the goals that we've laid out in the initial sessions. If you like to have homework between sessions - great! If not, no biggie. We'll work at your pace (with a gentle push from me when needed/welcomed) and we'll take breaks to admire the view on the way up. I can't wait to walk alongside you in your healing journey!
