By seeking support, you’re already showing great courage, and I’m here to help you use that strength. While I can't guarantee a life entirely free from pain, I can assure you that dedicating effort to your own self-healing can make a meaningful difference, empowering you to reclaim your life and joy with renewed confidence. I invite you to honor the bravery that brought you here and take the next step towards recovering your life from chronic pain. I’m here and ready to walk alongside you as you move forward toward healing and growth. And, yes, your pain is real and it is not "just all in your head." Let’s get started!

What should a new client know about working with you?

It's important to know what you can expect during the counseling process. We'll first explore the circumstances that brought you to counseling and identify your desired goals. I'll earnestly work to earn your trust and confidence in the therapeutic process, which is vital to goal achievement. After each session, we'll determine the next steps in the process, and I'll provide recommended reflections, exercises, or strategies to implement between sessions to maximize therapeutic benefit. My approach is collaborative and invites your input and preferences about how we work together. We'll also consistently evaluate your progress to determine if our work is helping you in meaningful ways.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Dr. Boucher was kind and professional.

Absolutely amazing first appointment. Dr Boucher was professional, personable, on time, open, and engaged. She asked wonderful guiding questions, gave me an opportunity to ask questions about her professional experience, practice, and approach, gave me clear options for next steps, and I felt very heard. She also began the appointment by letting me know right away that she understands how personal therapy is, and that if at the end of our appointment I didn’t feel like she was the right fit, there would be no hard feelings and it was absolutely my choice to make. I’m looking forward to continuing my treatment with her! I have experience with therapy, but I feel like she makes the first appointment extremely approachable and unintimidating to anyone who might be going for the first time.
