Chloé Briggs, LCSW

Psychotherapist
GA
Hi there, I'm Chloé! I am a licensed clinical social worker in Georgia, originally from New Jersey. The warm weather and relaxed pace brought me south. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University and my Bachelor’s from the University of Scranton. I have worked in college mental health counseling for five years and provided counseling in inpatient and partial hospitalization programs. My clinical interests include anxiety, identity development, life transitions, relationships, and eating disorders. My counseling style combines my calm nature with acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches. My approach I approach therapy with an open mind and compassionate heart. I draw from acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, insight-oriented therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based therapy. These are tailored to each client and adjusted based on preference. I never use an approach I haven’t tried or found success with myself! My focus I primarily work with young adults ages 18 to 35. I support clients with identity development, life stressors, transitions, relationships, boundaries, self-esteem, self-confidence, and connection to self and others. I also work with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, suicidal ideations, self-harm, and disordered eating. My communication style I create a warm, inviting environment. I use a person-centered approach, encouraging clients to choose session focus, providing a judgment-free space, and building connection. Clients say I have a soothing voice and peaceful presence. My goals for you I approach goal setting collaboratively! I empower clients to set their own goals and work alongside them to achieve meaningful growth and healing.
