You might feel the need to learn more about yourself and your relationships, process life events, share things that are difficult to share with others, or explore how past experiences have shaped you. I am passionate about helping clients foster self-awareness by using motivational interviewing to meet you right where you are.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois, with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University. I am also a National Board Certified Counselor. I have spent over 12 years in the mental health field, including 8 years as a practicing mental health professional.
You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Ongoing wellness is crucial to maintaining a balanced life.
What should a new client know about working with you?
All sessions begin and end as a transformative learning experience that can be described as joyful, raw, painful, authentic, and enlightening! One can expect authenticity within our sessions and that comes with a renewed experience. We'll work on dismantling the systems that no longer work for you.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
