Getting to know Christel McKoy
I am passionate about assisting individuals with improving their quality of life and daily functioning during the most delicate and vulnerable times in their lives.
I work with adults, couples and families by helping them to develop coping strategies, improve mental health/interpersonal skills, and techniques to decrease life stressors and mental health symptoms that negatively impact personal functioning and quality of life. I am a Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapist and focuses on the effective treatment for those that have endured sexual, physical, emotional, childhood and domestic abuse. I consider myself to be an Integrative Psychotherapist, which means I use a variety of orientations and therapies to be able to meet the client's individual needs.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Mrs. McKoy is down to earth, friendly and I'm able to talk with her for hours on end. Very nice personality and also tells me a little about her experiences. Very knowledge about different topics that we discuss.
