Getting to know Christian Carmona-Carlo

Let's get ready to start looking inward or to just stop feeling "tired of being sick and tired." I want to help you dig as deep as you need and be your copilot. I will assist you in navigating all of your life's adventures, whether in calm or treacherous waters. With a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University, I have a long history of working with diverse and minority populations. There is nothing that can shake me, and your mind will never scare me. I love transparency and directness, so expect much of it from me. (Currently Only Offering Telehealth/Virtual/Video Sessions.)

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe even a therapist needs therapy & therapy looks different for everyone. My way is to create, customize, & even morph to your needs. Whether you know it or not, you have unique obstacles, needs, & wants. I want to give that to you. So, whether you need a mental health tune-up or more long-term, I am excited to copilot in your self-growth adventure.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
