My name is Christian Jacobs, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's in Counseling from the University of Phoenix. I believe in utilizing real-world experiences and interventions to create solutions through a collaborative approach. Areas of focus in my practice include work and relationship issues, depression, anxiety, stress, race-based trauma and stress, and adolescent/youth challenges. My approach My approach to therapy is collaborative. I believe each person is the author and expert of their own life, and as a therapist, my goal is to help identify possible solutions to challenges using a strength-based approach. My focus I typically work with clients dealing with depression and anxiety stemming from relationship issues, marginalization, discrimination, biases in the workplace, and youth and adolescent life challenges such as identity, meaning of life, and acculturation.
