Hi there, I'm Christian! My name is Christian Porto, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in San Diego, California, working with clients state-wide via telehealth. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. My therapeutic approach is supportive and tailored to the unique needs of each client. My approach I specialize in trauma-focused therapy and am trained in EMDR. I also frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients heal and develop a more positive outlook on life. My focus I have found my style and approach are a good fit for adults experiencing difficulties adjusting to life transitions and coping with past trauma. I work with individuals ages 18-64 who face challenges related to anxiety, mood instability, trauma, drug and alcohol use, psychosis, and phobias.
