Christie Belle, LPC

Psychotherapist
GA
Hi there, I'm Christie! I am here to help you live the life you have always wanted! Difficult experiences can bring up feelings of anxiety, depression, or a lack of direction, and it can be hard to know what to do. I am here to support you in improving familial relationships by navigating dysfunctional communication patterns and resolving unresolved conflicts. My specialty includes working with individuals diagnosed with severe autism and/or reactive attachment disorder (RAD). Additionally, I work with parents experiencing anxiety and depression as they navigate the challenges of parenting a child with autism. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University, which has equipped me with the skills to provide compassionate and effective care. My approach I love using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems to explore individual and family patterns that may be passed down through generations, while challenging negative thought processes and replacing them with positive ones. When working with individuals and families impacted by autism, I combine Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to tailor support to their unique needs. My focus I enjoy working with individuals ages 5 and up, addressing mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and symptoms of PTSD. I also work with couples, facilitating healthy communication and effective conflict resolution. My communication style I consider myself an assertive communicator who meets people where they are. With compassion and honesty, I help you work through issues while identifying your inner strengths to become a happier, healthier version of yourself. I am compassionate and understanding, and I look forward to taking the journey of healing with you! My journey to mental healthcare I love helping people, especially couples and families. Seeing individuals progress from where they started to a better place is what drives me to continue this work!
