Hi, I'm Christina (Christy) Bame, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher. As a biracial (Asian and White), gender fluid, second generation immigrant and neurodivergent therapist, I bring both personal and professional understanding to my work. I offer a trauma-informed, holistic approach that integrates the mind, body, and spirit in the healing process. I am an eclectic therapist, tailoring my therapeutic methods to your unique needs. I combine Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Attachment Based Theory with creative modalities such as mindfulness, art and gentle movement. I am passionate about supporting clients navigating trauma, psychosis, depression, Bipolar, suicidal ideation, and gender and racial stressors. I help you find safety, empowerment, and reconnection to you authentic self. Rooted in social justice, my work acknowledges the impact of systemic oppression on mental health and centers empowerment, resilience, and collective healing. I actively oppose racism, fascism, and systemic oppression, and strive to create an affirming, inclusive therapeutic space.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
