I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) practicing in Washington County, MD. Washington County remains ?Home? to me?the place and the people where I was born and raised. I consider it a privilege to serve the people and families of this community, as they have served me well throughout my life. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Shepherd University and my Master's in Social Work from Salisbury University. I have enjoyed over 18 years in the field of social work, serving children, individuals, and families across a variety of systems. I am currently accepting clients aged 16 and older for private therapy services, either from my home office or virtually through the Grow Therapy platform. I have a particular affection for both the young and the young at heart, believing we all exist somewhere along that spectrum. I am a passionate believer that tending to the wellness of our mind, body, emotion, and spirit is how we remain there?or return there?depending on where we are on our journey. In working with clients, I aim for a strengths-based, solution-focused perspective and support utilizing an eclectic approach to individualized care. I consider human connection and relationship essential to healthy living, and ?therapy? to be that intentional, safe, and often sacred space where we choose to connect, learn, and grow in our understanding of ourselves and others. While every person and their experiences are unique, the human experience?with its joys, struggles, and suffering?is common to us all. It is out of this commonality that I work to create space, understanding, connection, and hopefully acceptance, growth, and change with my clients.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
