Welcome, and thank you for considering me as a therapist to partner with you on your therapy journey! Taking the first steps to change your life can be challenging and, at times, a bit scary. I can relate to and understand how starting a new journey can feel uncomfortable. I strive to provide a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel comfortable working toward their goals using tailored therapeutic techniques. Therapy is a partnership between the therapist and the client to create positive changes that one would like to focus on in their life. I have twenty-five years of experience working with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families to address relationship issues, anxiety, depression, women's issues, grief, ADHD, and life transitions. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support my clients effectively. With the proper support, I believe anyone can make progress toward their goals. I look forward to the opportunity to partner with you on your journey of growth! Christine ***Please, when booking appointments, book on the top of the hour. Grow has not implemented a function to do this, and booking in the middle of the hour (9:30, 10:30, etc.) creates potential time conflicts.

What should a new client know about working with you?

As a therapist, I believe my role is to create a trusting client-therapist partnership and foster a team dynamic to address a client's concerns. At the start of the first session, I establish that I am a part of their team to assist them in creating and implementing action plans to allow for growth toward reaching their therapeutic goals. Therapy work is a partnership on a journey in that I strive to provide the support a client needs and wants. Everyone's journey is unique, and working as a team with open communication is essential to finding the right balance for individual success. I encourage clients to remember that change is not always comfortable, but it can be an opportunity for positive personal growth; one just needs to be receptive to the opportunity.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
