Christine Catania-Rachlin, LCSW

Psychotherapist
104 Russell St, Hadley, MA
It has been my privilege to work as a mental health therapist for over 25 years. My guiding principle remains to lead with compassion, understanding, and respect, starting where the client identifies. I recognize that therapy is about the goodness of fit between therapist and client. I have been honored to work with diverse clients, assisting them in achieving goals related to healthier coping skills and improved relationships with themselves and others. Over the past decade, I have focused on working with motivated clients addressing trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders, as well as adolescents navigating their journey to adulthood. I believe my role is to nurture and guide each person's innate healing process, helping them achieve greater peace and connection to themselves and others. The ultimate goal is to assist clients in moving beyond the need for therapy. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Boston College and a Bachelor’s degree from Montclair State University. I have advanced training in EMDR and various ego state therapy techniques to address PTSD and complex trauma. I also incorporate mindfulness, EFT, and breathing work focused on calming the nervous system. My work is primarily rooted in trauma, relational and interpersonal neurology, and the polyvagal theory. I believe in and nurture the mind/body/spirit connection.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
