Getting to know Christine Woodard

Are you in a time of transition and feeling anxious, overwhelmed, alone, or even doubting your decisions? Do you feel stuck in the same cycle of high conflict, poor communication, and lack of connection in your relationships? Or do you find that you have difficulty setting boundaries, juggling the many tasks in your day, and often say "yes" when you really want to say "no" to others? I have over 9 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families going through major life transitions, times of crisis and trauma, marital and relationship difficulties, and those just seeking to feel reconnected with themselves and others. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Albany State University and have an extensive background in working with trauma victims, domestic violence and abuse, and military families. It is my belief that no problem you bring to our session is too large or too small. I'd love to help you on your journey to healing and wholeness.

What should a new client know about working with you?

It is my priority to create a safe space for healing and you can expect to walk away feeling as if you have a plan of action to accomplish your goals from the very first session. I strive to ensure every session includes action items so that you can walk away confident that you have tools to use to create long-term improvements.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Christine is solution oriented and warm. I needed her honest assessment to help me to see myself as and make necessary changes.
Christine has been nothing short of wonderful. She listened to my needs from therapy and has implemented them into our strategy and communication. She challenges me to dig deeper and to be honest with myself, while still remaining warm and empathetic. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants that style of therapy in their life.
Christine is very affirming and straightforward in her therapeutic style, and after only a handful of sessions she has helped me more than any of the other therapists I’ve had for six years. She is insightful and honest while also remaining kind in her challenges of my negative self concept. We are working on self esteem and its roots in trauma, and she is already helping so much. I recommend her to anyone who wants genuine change and positive growth in their life.
