Getting to know Christopher Burke

We do not fail when we realize we need help; we simply surrender. Surrender does not mean weakness—it means “going to the winning side.” In many cases, we have won the game of life, yet we are still hurting, stuck, or living a joyless existence. How does moving to, or back to, a life worth living sound? How about having a quiet mind, a calm heart, and a steady spirit? My experience as a therapist, along with my Master’s in Counseling from Grand Canyon University, has shown me that sound, solution-focused ideas—based on evidence and personal experience—can bring these things to anyone willing to make a change. Therapy can be a pathway to getting unstuck, healing emotional wounds and suffering, and gaining self-understanding and clarity. By helping clients accept their imperfections, I open up the possibilities for growth that can lead to a more meaningful and purposeful life.
