I earned my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Walden University in 2018. Since then, I have pursued licensure and embraced my calling to this work, knowing God has sent me on this path. My approach I use many styles and modalities of therapeutic interventions, tailoring therapy to each client's unique needs. I am eclectic and select interventions that best suit each individual. My focus I work with individuals, couples, and families of all ages, often with trauma clients, covering many conditions. My communication style I use humor and meet clients where they are. I quickly gauge whether a direct or gentler approach is needed. My journey to mental healthcare When I started college, I was unsure of my path and changed majors several times while earning my associate's degree. An intro to psychology course sparked my passion for the field. After earning my bachelor's degree, I worked but realized I needed more education to make a real difference. This led me back to school in 2015 for my master's in Marriage and Family Therapy at Walden University, and I have been dedicated to this path ever since.
