Psychotherapist
TX
I’m Claire, a Licensed Professional Counselor offering virtual therapy in Texas. I’m currently accepting clients in the afternoons and evenings. My style is warm, gentle, inquisitive, collaborative, and affirming. Meeting with someone new is a chance to slow down and explore what’s possible. I aim to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported, a space to better understand who you are, what matters to you, and where you want to go next. Many people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, fatigued, or unsure where to start, especially when life circumstances have shifted. I work with adults navigating stress, health-related challenges, anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, and life transitions, and I also work with adolescents when it’s a good fit. When working with teens, I take a developmentally thoughtful and collaborative approach, and parent or caregiver involvement is included intentionally when helpful, while respecting developmental needs and privacy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Our work is guided by curiosity, compassion, and collaboration, and is always tailored to what supports you best. Together, we’ll notice patterns, strengths, and possibilities that may have been overlooked, and begin exploring small, practical ways to support your well-being. I graduated with honors and have been recognized with an Employee Excellence Award for a strengths-based approach, reinforcing my belief in helping clients reconnect with their existing gifts and resilience. This is a space where your whole self is welcome. In my view, therapy is not about fixing what’s “wrong,” but about understanding what helps you feel more balanced and making room for growth in a way that fits your unique rhythm and strengths. I often think about people’s growth the way I think about my garden. Each person has their own pace, needs, and conditions where they thrive. Some need more care in certain seasons, while others need different conditions to grow. My role is to help you understand what allows your growth to unfold, especially when life has felt overwhelming or out of balance.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we’ll explore what brought you here and what feels most important to focus on. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll take time to get oriented, ask questions, and begin to understand what you’re hoping for from therapy. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable and aligned with what you need right now. This session is an opportunity to begin discovering patterns, strengths, and what supports your well-being. My aim is to provide a space that feels welcoming and grounded, where you feel at ease, understood, and more connected to yourself as we begin this journey together.
