Claire is a licensed marriage and family therapist who is passionate about fostering positive change in the lives of individuals, couples, and families. She received her Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in trauma, from Antioch University, Los Angeles, in 2016. Claire has extensive experience in various mental health settings, including residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient treatment. She specializes in DBT, CBT, and Mindfulness therapy. Areas of Specialization: 1. Eating Disorders/Body Image – I help teenagers and adults struggling with eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia, as well as body image issues. I also provide support to parents and loved ones of those facing these challenges. 2. Teens/Adolescents – Teens often struggle with identity development, relationships, academic stress, and emotional well-being. My goal is to empower adolescents to build resilience and develop concrete, effective coping mechanisms. 3. Trauma – If you have experienced trauma that is manifesting in unhealthy and unpleasant ways, I am here to help you on your healing journey. Through a combination of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, my goal is to help you move forward so you can live a life rooted in the now, not in your past. 4. Anxiety/Depression – We'll work on a truly individualized treatment plan for depression and anxiety, rooted in your goals and an understanding of where these feelings come from. We'll also focus on learning practical tools to manage these symptoms so you can get back to enjoying life to its fullest. 5. Family – I view the family as a system where all parts are connected and impact each other. Together, we will identify patterns, issues, and goals, and explore how everyone contributes to both the problem and the solution. With mindfulness and hands-on tools to use in the moment, I can help you achieve more peace and compassion within your family. 6. Couples
