Claire Reed, LPC

Psychotherapist
MO
I am a licensed therapist with Meru Health, holding a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and a Bachelor’s degree from College of the Ozarks. In just 12 weeks—the duration of our program—you will build skills to reduce stress, alleviate anxiety, and better manage uncomfortable emotions. I’ll support you through unlimited chat messaging and scheduled video calls throughout this journey. My passion is helping those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and any other challenges life may bring. I enjoy empowering clients with the appropriate tools to overcome struggles and function in a healthy, productive way. I believe a healthy lifestyle is a balance between your mind, body, and social self. Everyone deserves to feel balanced and happy—let’s talk about helping you find your balance. I believe in the harmony of mind, body, spiritual, and social self, and that everyone is capable of making the changes necessary to promote growth and wellness. Through a therapeutic relationship, individuals can become empowered to see their own potential. I do this by focusing on three different therapeutic approaches. By exploring how you perceive yourself, the focus remains on you. The goal is to help you better cope with current and future challenges. I also work to identify and change negative thinking patterns to encourage positive behavioral change. Finally, I help you find peace through mindfulness, acceptance, and removing judgment. Person-centered therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and cognitive therapy are evidence-based practices that have helped many of my clients overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health struggles. Everyone deserves to feel balanced and happy—let’s talk about helping you find your balance. Outside of work, I find my balance by enjoying yoga or spending time with my fox red Labrador Retriever.
