In reality, most people seeking therapy are ordinary individuals dealing with everyday challenges life throws at us. I hold a Master's in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree from Aurora University, as well as an Associate's degree from Elgin Community College. I approach therapy by creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where my clients and I can explore issues causing negative feelings or behaviors. Building therapeutic rapport is key to engaging clients and their families, and I enjoy being creative, playful, and relatable throughout the process. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, self-harm, self-esteem, ADHD, transitions, and behavioral concerns. I also value coordinating with outside providers, such as schools and medical professionals, to ensure the best care.
