Claire Zierer, LCSW

Claire Zierer, LCSW

Psychotherapist
I started at Arena in January of 2023. I am currently a full time school social worker, but also loving private practice and the clients I work with. I specialize in youth and teens. I began my work with youth in the juvenile detention setting and then transitioned into crisis and behavioral hospital work. Later, I began the role of school social worker. I approach therapy by creating a safe, non-judgmental environment, where my clients and I can explore some of the issues that are creating negative feelings or behavioral responses. I believe that building therapeutic rapport is an important factor in engaging the client and their family and enjoy being creative, playful and relatable with them. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents and young adults that are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-harm, self-esteem, ADHD, transitions and behavior concerns. When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family and friends, go out on long walks with my dog and be active. I also love to coach and play volleyball.
