My name is Claudia Pineda, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have had a passion for helping people from a young age and have known I wanted to be a therapist for most of my life. I attended California State University, Stanislaus, where I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Sociology and my Master's in Social Work. I have 9 years of experience as an LCSW providing psychotherapy, conducting assessments, formulating diagnoses, and creating treatment plans. Additionally, I have 3 years of experience in this field pre-licensure. I have worked closely with children, adolescents, adults, and families. For 2 years, I worked at a nonprofit organization helping at-risk youth and their families. I also spent several years working in a Behavioral Health and Recovery Services (BHRS) county department, assessing and providing psychotherapy to patients. I have experience completing crisis evaluations in hospital and jail settings, enabling me to identify warning signs quickly and refer individuals to appropriate care.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
