Hello, I'm Claudia. Have you been experiencing the pain of sorrow, grief, or loneliness? Perhaps you are functioning well but feel tears on the inside. Sometimes, it feels like worries will never stop. I have worked successfully with adults, teens, and children for the last 30 years, helping turn depression and anxiety into hope and optimism. You are resilient; you can heal your relationships, watch your children blossom, and find family life enriching again. I always talk with you. However, when words alone are not enough, art therapy can be a holding place for deep feelings. When you draw or sculpt your feelings, they can be seen, owned, and learned from. I also use sandtray therapy with both adults and kids. Children usually play in the sand. Adults resolve longstanding issues. Teens enjoy the non-verbal quality of sandtray therapy. I incorporate talk therapy, art therapy, sandtray therapy, and also play, depending on the needs of each client. My specialties include PTSD, adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, anger management, anxiety, autism spectrum support, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, life transitions, medical issues/physical health, OCD, intimate/romantic relationships, spirituality, stress, and trauma. I also work with bereavement, divorce issues, and relationships. I work only in person, because relationship is so important.
