Getting to know Clint Edwards

Welcome! So, how do you find the best therapist for you? That is a great question. And it's one that most people struggle with answering, whether it is their first or umpteenth search. Is it the therapist him/herself, their personality, theoretical approach, or specialty? While all these factors are important, research shows that roughly 60% of successful therapeutic outcomes are the result of the relationship between the client and therapist. That said, it shouldn't be your responsibility to find the best clinician; rather, it's the clinician's responsibility to become the best therapist for you. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Addiction Counselor with nearly nine years of extensive professional experience in both mental health and addiction. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Walden University. Further, I have a personal background in overcoming addictions including smoking, drugs, alcohol, caffeine, pornography, eating, as well as several mental health and learning disabilities. Whether you're seeking help to overcome mental health conditions, addiction, couples/marriage/family dynamics, life coaching, or career/academic counseling, I've dedicated my professional life to becoming YOUR BEST clinician.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You are unique and special; so your treatment should be also. I don't believe in the "One treatment fits all" approach. We work together from day one to ensure that your therapy matches your specific needs. I also feel that you deserve to begin seeing results as soon as possible, like within the first few sessions. I call it RRT-Rapid Response Treatment, and depending on what help you need, I will typically utilize the two most effective rapid approaches: EFT tapping and TEAM-CBT.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits
