Getting to know Cody Goers
I am an LGBT-identifying therapist with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University. I have been working in the mental health field for over two years in residential and community mental health settings, which has provided me with experience working with a wide variety of clients. I work with individuals who are struggling with gender identity, sexual orientation, and open relationships. I assist clients in navigating the life transitions that come up while addressing these concerns. I am kink aware and currently working on sex therapy certification.
What should a new client know about working with you?
In a first session we will go over clients goals and hopes for counseling. Throughout working with me clients will hopefully see a reduction in symptoms and strides to each of their individualized goals.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
