I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience providing individual therapy. I call myself "The Story Shifter" – guiding people to let clarity and meaning reshape how life defines them. As we understand how our experiences have shaped us, we can re-choose our perspective and transform life's moments to serve ourselves and the world. Counseling and coaching have been the illuminated path of my own story shift.

My approach to care is compassionate, empathetic, and deeply present. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood. With an intuitive, person-centered style, I listen actively while gently helping clients identify and shift unhelpful patterns and perspectives. Therapy is a collaborative process in which I take an active role, integrating evidence-based practices with a holistic lens to support meaningful, lasting change at each client's own pace.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we'll begin by gently exploring your life story and the experiences, stressors, or pain that brought you to therapy. We'll also take time to see if we're a good fit and whether my approach feels right for you. Feeling truly seen and heard is central to our work and helps build safety and trust. I take an active, collaborative role and will partner with you to support your goals.
