Psychotherapist
GA
I have been in the field for over 10 years. I have experience in a lot of areas. I aim to make sure my clients feel heard, obtain value through the therapy process, and actively work on improving their quality of life. My approach I utilize techniques from Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Existential Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). My focus I aim to make therapy accessible for everyone through telehealth. I primarily work with adults only, ages 18-99. I focus on crisis management, depression, anxiety, grief, bereavement, relationship challenges, conflict resolution, workplace stress, trauma, self-esteem and interpersonal challenges. My communication style I am very relatable, direct, and I believe in making therapy sessions conversational. My journey to mental healthcare As people, we all go through things in life. There are a lot of people who struggle with invisible conditions, which may cause some to suffer in silence due to past stigmas associated with mental health. I wanted to be the difference by raising awareness of mental health and by being the voice for those with invisible struggles. My goals for you The therapeutic process is a partnership. I think defining our roles and expectations is an important first step. After defining our roles, we have to work together to identify ways to move forward in the therapeutic alliance. My first session with you In our first session, I will work with the client to build rapport, create the therapeutic alliance, identify treatment goals, and answer any questions about the therapeutic process.
