Getting to know Connor Sullivan

I am an LICSW Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from Simmons University and experience in helping those with depression, ADHD, anxiety, and trauma. I incorporate ACT, CBT, and DBT modalities into my work and am a trained EMDR therapist.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In working with you towards your goals I see therapy as an important collaboration. I bring a background in mental and behavioral health and you bring your own unique strengths and the expertise in your own life that only you know. Together we will identify what you would like to see change in your life and we will discuss as a team what treatment approaches make the most sense towards helping you accomplish your treatment goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session together is focused on getting to know you. I want to spend time understanding where you are coming from, what you are going through, and what brought you to seeking support for yourself. I will share some of my background and skills and we can decide together whether I feel like the right fit for you. Together we will outline what our work going forward will look like and if you feel like we are a good fit we will begin working towards your goals.
