Are you tired of trying to overcome life's challenges alone? My name is Corina Relyea, and I am a licensed therapist in the state of North Carolina. I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of North Carolina and have 4 years of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and it is my role as a therapist to help you navigate life's challenges through tangible coping skills and unconditional positive regard. From my experience, I have learned that individuals have the highest capacity to heal from distressing situations when they have the opportunity to be heard, understood, and validated.
My approach is warm, empathetic, and solution-focused. Reaching out for help can feel daunting, but I am here to make the process feel natural and supportive. I have experience working with individuals struggling with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, borderline personality disorder, trauma, life transitions, and burnout. I do my best to make others feel safe and respected.

What should a new client know about working with you?
After your first session with me, you can expect to feel heard, understood and validated. We will discuss therapeutic goals and how these goals will be achieved. After working together for some time, I will equip you with tools you can use to take on the many life challenges that come up. I am passionate about helping individuals make progress in their lives and achieve their mental health goals.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
