Getting to know Corinna Navarro

My name is Corinna Cabral, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Riverside, California, working with clients statewide via telehealth. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from California Baptist University. I work primarily with teens and young adults, specializing in anxiety, depression, family conflicts, and life transitions. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Attachment Therapy to help my clients identify their needs, make progress, and start feeling better. My approach to therapy varies based on each client’s needs. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Attachment-based Therapy, as both modalities help us build a shared understanding of their experiences and work together toward their goals. I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for teens and young adults facing challenges related to life transitions and family conflicts, often expressed through anxiety, depression, and stress. I support my clients in navigating these periods and building skills to feel better about themselves and develop a more positive outlook on life. My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable sharing anything with me, and I pride myself on listening without judgment. My journey to becoming a therapist stems from a desire to create the supportive space I needed during difficult transitions in my own childhood and young adulthood. I strive to provide that same space for my clients. I focus on goal-setting as an exploration process, valuing my clients’ input because I view them as the experts in their own lives. In our first session, we will get to know each other, work on goal-setting, and provide information to support your journey.
