Psychotherapist
FL
Hi, I'm Cornelia. (Hablo Espa?ol) I earned my Bachelor's degree from Florida International University and my Master's in Social Work from Barry University. I am licensed in the state of Florida as a Clinical Social Worker. Have you ever felt misunderstood or so depressed that you don't know how to get out of it? There is always a way out. I support your decision to take the first step in putting yourself first. It is not easy to speak to a stranger about your innermost struggles. By listening, being empathetic, and transparent throughout the session, I will help build the rapport and trust needed for a strong therapeutic relationship. I have worked with individuals who are having difficulty adjusting to life transitions, caregiver burnout, depression, anxiety, substance use, grief and loss, chronic and terminal illness, end-of-life issues, anticipatory grief, and trauma. By using evidence-based techniques, I can help you gain insight and find hope in knowing that you have the inner strength to cope with your struggles in a healthy and positive way. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you so that together we can explore how I may best help you reach your goals and connect to a healthier lifestyle.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
