My specialties include supporting individuals who experience anxiety, depression, grief/loss, life transition/adjustment, mood disorders, and chronic or terminal illness. I have also worked with those experiencing caregiver burnout, helping them learn new coping skills and how to manage their stress. My approach My approach to therapy varies depending on what the client may be experiencing and which treatment module works best. I use, but am not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Reminiscence Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. Everyone has a strength, and together we will rediscover that strength to help you live an enriched and healthy lifestyle. My journey to mental healthcare As a child, I always knew I wanted to help people. As a teenager, I participated in charity work, such as visiting nursing homes and singing to the elderly. This made me realize I could bring happiness into people's lives. I decided to make this a reality by obtaining a bachelor's degree in psychology from FIU and a master's degree in social work from Barry University.
