I earned both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Florida State University. My communication style I use active listening, empathy, and clear communication to provide feedback. Understanding and working within the cultural context of my clients is important to me, and I adapt my communication style accordingly. Clients feel at ease knowing I am a non-judgmental therapist. My journey to mental healthcare A summer counseling class as an undergrad sparked my desire to join the helping profession. My initial work with foster care children was gratifying and taught me much about this population. I am driven by a desire to serve others and find it rewarding to make a difference in someone's life. My goals for you I use goals to guide and organize my clients' efforts in counseling, helping them reach objectives efficiently.
