If there are times when you feel you are riding the roller coaster of your own emotions, trying to make sense of how to manage your emotional responses on top of all your other responsibilities and stress, we should absolutely work together. My approach I want to support you in recognizing and regulating emotions to improve your relationships with others, and more importantly, with yourself. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to guide and support you as you build confidence in yourself and tap into your inherent strengths. An important note: we are allowed to have fun in our sessions-serious work requires time to laugh and smile too! Let’s get started! My focus I work with adolescents and adults who are managing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and general stress. We will explore how these factors impact relationships, and place focus on emotional regulation and proactive coping strategies that are easy and accessible to use in everyday life. My communication style I use direct, open, and non-judgmental communication to ensure a safe environment where you can share your feelings and work towards your goals. I will walk alongside you patiently and will prioritize active listening so that you feel heard. You can expect consistency and respect when we communicate with one another. My goals for you We will break up your goals into manageable steps, always going at your pace! I put time into building rapport with you, by developing and leaning into your strengths and assisting in building the confidence so that one day you can identify them independently.
