Hi there, I'm Courtney! Struggling with anxious thoughts or self-doubt? I work with people of all ages navigate anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. Together, we’ll build coping skills and create a personalized plan for growth that feels empowering and achievable. My focus I see therapy as a partnership. Together, we’ll set goals that matter to you—whether that’s improving relationships, building self-esteem, or pursuing personal growth. As you gain new insights, we’ll adapt your plan to stay meaningful and supportive as you move toward where you want to be. My approach I utilize personalized evidenced based therapy approaches including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and internal family systems (IFS). I offer an intuitive and compassionate blend of these therapy approaches to effectively build healthy coping skills. My communication style I foster authentic connections through open communication, humor, and when appropriate compastionate feedback and honesty. My journey to mental healthcare I started my studies towards being a professional healer with the interests of the human mind and with the question of "why do we do what we do" "how does our thinking impact our actions" and "how can we heal from emotional pain?" My goals for you Therapy is a change progress and part of our work together is planning for steps towards change you want to see in your life outside therapy where true growth occurs. We make plans that will work for your stage of motivation. Our first session The first session I spend time getting to know your story and understanding what you want to work on in therapy so we can start where you want to. I provide information on what to expect out of therapy with me and how we can work together for her individual needs.
