“Dr. Cristina's very empathic and intuitive. I felt comfortable the minute I met her because she showed a great deal of curiosity in getting to know me. Moreover, she worked hard and thought outside of the box to guide me and provided me with solutions in navigating my difficult relationships.”

Getting to know Cristina Bautista

I leverage my upbringing, role as a daughter, sister, mother, and friend, and journey as a Marine Corps Veteran and Veteran?s wife to support my clients?always practicing with a compassionate approach. I hold a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Southern California Seminary, a Master?s in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor?s degree from Azusa Pacific University. I work with adults of all races, ethnicities, and cultures, and I?m skilled in serving Catholics, Christians, and fellow Veterans. My specialties include helping Latinos with intergenerational trauma and inner-child work, as well as supporting college students and professionals with ADD/ADHD. My goal is to help you ease your symptoms, learn concrete skills, and ultimately feel better in your mind and body.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I’m a Latina therapist, Marine Corps Veteran, and Veteran wife, committed to helping adults and Veterans care for their mental health. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma in English and Spanish. This is a safe place to navigate your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, relieve distressing symptoms, and get resources for your well-being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I use evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing. My military and life experiences have shaped my worldview and allowed me to support those on similar paths. Yet, I’ll show up with a kind and hands-on approach no matter what you’re going through.
