Psychotherapist

Reaching out for therapy is an important first step, and I’m honored to be part of that journey. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or parenting concerns, I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe therapy should reflect the person—not just the problem. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique experiences and goals. I take time to understand your story before deciding what strategies will be most helpful, integrating approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, and supportive talk therapy when appropriate. As a mother of three, I have a special interest in working with parents and caregivers, including those experiencing pregnancy or postpartum concerns. Together, we’ll work toward greater self-understanding, healthier relationships, practical coping skills, and meaningful, lasting change.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to have everything figured out before we meet. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, ask questions, and explore what’s been weighing on you without feeling judged. I’ll take the time to understand your story, and together we’ll find an approach that fits your needs, your goals, and the life you’re living—not someone else’s.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe therapy works best when we build a strong understanding of who you are before focusing on solutions. We’ll begin by exploring what has brought you to therapy, what’s most important to you, and what you’re hoping will be different. From there, we’ll work collaboratively to create a plan that fits your goals. Depending on your needs, our work may include processing difficult experiences, strengthening relationships, learning practical coping strategies, or building new ways of responding to life’s challenges. Throughout the process, we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable while keeping your goals at the center of our work.
