Getting to know Crystal R Williams

Hello, my name is Crystal Williams, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) as well as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Illinois. I have been a practicing clinician for over 13 years. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Chicago State University. My clinical practice focuses on adults seeking individual and/or couples therapy, primarily for short-term therapy. I have worked with clients from diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. I specialize in treating conditions such as anxiety and panic attacks, stress management, relationship issues, parenting and parent/child concerns, self-esteem and self-identity challenges, communication and boundaries, coping skills, LGBTQIA+ matters, grief counseling, and more.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I pride myself as being a Clinician/therapist who is open-minded and relatable with my clients. I want clients to feel comfortable being expressive of their thoughts, feelings, ideas and most important to have a safe space to feel heard and understood. My goal is to learn about my clients, build rapport, and help them to the best of my ability and expertise to meet their goal for therapy.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
