Hi there, I'm Crystal! I'm Crystal Jerome, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master's in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. I primarily work with women navigating fertility, grief and loss, pregnancy and postpartum, and motherhood. I use approaches like CBT, attachment-focused therapy, EMDR, and self-compassion methods tailored to each client to help decrease mood-related disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. My approach No individual or journey is the same. During our consultation and initial session, we evaluate you uniquely to identify therapeutic approaches that best meet your needs. Being open to pivot and implement new therapies when needed is essential. I lead with a self-compassion and cognitive approach, and we build upon that together. My focus I've always worked specifically with women, especially mothers, in my role as a therapist. Whether she's having difficulty conceiving, has experienced loss, is pregnant, or in postpartum facing motherhood challenges-she's found the right safe space here. My journey to mental healthcare Helping others has always been part of who I am-whether volunteering in college with women and children at domestic violence shelters or working early in my career as a neonatal intensive care unit case manager and with an opioid pregnancy program. I've witnessed disparities in access to quality mental health care and barriers within medical spaces after patients are identified as needing mental health services.
